AS someone who works in the town centre seven days a week, I would like to pass comment about the four young men who entertained a vast crowd in St Sampson's Square, York, on Thursday, October 27.
These four opera singers sang a variety of songs, and had the vast crowd of people of all ages spellbound for some time.
The performance was most appreciated by the thundering applause, well deserved.
I was not surprised, however, when instead of walking by as they do when the singing dogs and the penny whistle begins, more people joined the crowd until St Sampson's Square was full.
I do hope someone will ask the four young men to return once again.
