I NOTE yet again there have been two more road accidents on the A19 in the Crockey Hill area, near York.
It is surely time that something is done to reduce all these accidents, some of them serious.
I have lived in the county of Buckinghamshire, where accident blackspot signs have been placed at every dangerous stretch of road and junction.
The signs give details of numbers of accidents and serious injuries over the previous three years.
This has significantly reduced the accident rate.
Why can we not do the same at Crockey Hill before there is a fatality? Drivers unfamiliar with this area need to be warned.
