Nestl Rowntree remain top of the York Mitchell Sports League division one after a win over Haxby Town.

Jacob Gore (2) and Kieran Flanagan scored while Mathew Yeoman was man of the match. Tom Williams replied.

Rawcliffe moved to second place following their 4-2 win at Copmanthorpe. with goals from Jonny Sellers (2), Robin Jefferson and Alex Nelson.

Wigginton Grasshoppers had their first win of the season against Strensall with D Welborn scoring five, J Thompson (2) and B Unsworth. Peter Lawrie, Edward Hicks and Adam Houghton replied.

Richard Jackson's two goals gave Easingwold Hawks the points against York College, Dean Moss replying.

In division two, Tadcaster Albion stayed top after beating Thorpe Utd through Chris Turner (2), Steven Brown and Thomas Askham. Replying for Thorpe were Joel Langton and Jake Taylor.

York RI thrashed Pocklington Pumas as Jordan Calpin scored five and Steve Littlewood and George Pallister two each. Geoff Cooper and J Bishop replied.

Rawcliffe Bulls found Ulleskelf on form. Charlie Coupland scored twice for Bulls but Hal Ramsden scored seven for Ulleskelf with John Langrick and Jonathan Mellor also on target.

Wilberfoss continue to lead division three after beating neighbours Pocklington Phoenix. Jack Overton hit two, with Craig Mathic, Jordan Horner and Lewis Gant also scoring.

Shaun Clarke, Jamie Kirby and Nathan Brigham all scored hat-tricks and Ashley Wright and Matthew Forde also netted as Carr Vikings hammered Heworth, David White replying.

Poppleton Tigers ran in eight in their win over Fulford with Tom Heath scoring four, Josh Farrow (2), Jack Vest and Eden Brooks one each, Oliver Souter bagged a brace for Tigers.
