GOOD job councillor Reid, that's what I say. If her daughter's wedding coincided with a needed check on the traffic light emergency system then everyone benefited.

The system was proven and her daughter got to the church on time - where's the harm?

If, as others were saying, an off-duty emergency vehicle should have been used, then the taxpayers of York would be paying for the petrol and other hidden expenses that go with operating public vehicles.

I say Councillor Reid did us all a favour. Bully for her!
