SO Councillor Reid is sorry two months after the event, most likely because it has only just become public knowledge. A lapse in her self proclaimed "usually high standards." We can all well do without this kind of standard.

As a council taxpayer, voter and car driver, apology not accepted.

Do Coun Reid and Coun Galloway, who supports the "courageous use of trial technology" expect us to accept such a load of ridiculous excuses?

What other perks of council office were used on the day? Five cars all guaranteed parking spaces perhaps, or did Coun Reid know that car parks are mostly empty now due to high charges?

Only one action is necessary here to show that Coun Reid truly has such "high standards" and that is her prompt resignation from the council, and not just her position as transport boss.
