I WOULD endorse John Robson's view that dredging of the Ouse should be reinstated to help ease flooding.
Politicians seem to love visible and expensive projects as opposed to simple and less obvious solutions (excuse my cynicism but I often wonder why). Perhaps we could have input from an expert hydrologist at the university.
