Adrian Morley, who cheered Leeds to victory over Bradford in last year's engage Super League Grand Final, will be at the heart of the Bulls' efforts to wrest the trophy from them at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Bradford's Great Britain international will be playing the sixth and final match of his loan spell from Sydney Roosters and will be hoping to finish his short-term stint with a 100 per cent record and a Super League ring.

The 28-year-old spent seven seasons at Headingley before moving to Australia and, ironically, played his final match for the Rhinos against Bradford in the second play-off round at Odsal in 2000.

Now his last match for the Bulls coincides with the farewell appearance of his former Rhinos team-mate Barrie McDermott.

"It's amazing how it's worked out," he said. "I didn't think at the start of this year I'd be playing in a British Grand Final, never mind against my former club.

"I had many great years at Leeds but hopefully I'll be doing a job for Bradford on Saturday. It does add a bit of spice that it is Leeds and it's quite fitting that I'll be playing in my good friend Barrie McDermott's last game. I'd like to ruin it for him."

Morley, who was in the Leeds team which lost to Wigan in the inaugural Super League showpiece in 1998, could become the first Briton to play in a Grand Final-winning team in both England and Australia, having helped the Roosters beat New Zealand Warriors in 2002. He also has his eyes on a remarkable treble, having won the Challenge Cup with Leeds in 1999, Aussie Dave Furner being the only player to have won all three big titles.
