YORK RUFC are forced to mix and match again as they contemplate an away game at Wheatley Hills in Yorkshire One.

Despite being the league's top point scorers, the Clifton Parkers have rarely been able to field a settled XV this season and tomorrow is no exception.

Skipper Andy Kay, who missed last week's crushing derby victory against Selby, returns at flanker with James Rossington dropping to the bench.

There is joy all round at Rob Kama's return at wing after a wrist X-ray revealed no problems, but Nathan McBride, who scored a thrilling hat-trick last week, is unavailable.

There's a reshuffle at centre, with Nick Ventress moving to outside. Rob Taylor plays at 12. Mike Westwood's good form at full-back sees him continue at the expense of Tom Copeland while, in the forwards, Ady Martin comes in for the unavailable Simon Humphries at loose-head.

York will be expected to get the ball wide and play the expansive rugby which has so far been a feature of this campaign.

Only Bridlington (13) have scored more tries from the backs than York (12), and Wheatley Hills, with one win from three, will be punished if they allow York to control territory and possession.

Selby have rung the changes following their dismal display at York, with six alterations in anticipation of Goole's visit to Sandhill Lane tomorrow.

At no stage did Selby get out of the blocks against York and were lucky to escape with 27-8 Yorkshire One defeat. With that hanging in the minds, Andy Banks takes Shaun Austerfield's full-back slot, while wing Rob Arnold makes his debut for the first time.

Jason Cicero returns in the second row following corrective eye surgery, and it's all change in the back row with Mathew Mills shifting to number 8 following injury to Kevin Lowery.

Wright Phillips is relegated to the bench and is replaced at blindside by Paul Randell. Duncan Phillips takes Richard Nicholson's place at openside.

Goole have yet to record a victory this year and were trounced by York on opening day, but Selby realise they must play far better than they did a week ago if they are to get their campaign back on track.

Pocklington, one of four remaining unbeaten clubs in Yorkshire Two, host old rivals North Ribblesdale at Percy Road.

Sitting in second place in the table, Pock will still have to be at their best to tackle a Ribblesdale side which has lost just one of their four games and lie in fifth place.

Flanker Steve Wilcock is at a wedding, while skipper Matt Atkinson is still out through a combination of injury and fatherhood, so John Ainslie moves from lock into the back row while lock Ed Bean comes into the squad.

In the backs, Henry Mitchell returns after being unavailable last week and is lined up to play fly half, allowing his brother, Sandy, to return to his preferred centre berth.

York RI, buoyed by last week's solid 27-6 home win over Stocksbridge in Yorkshire Three, travel to Wath.

Malton and Norton are also on the road in Durham and Northumberland One, making the trek to bottom club Acklam.

Harrogate will be hoping to break their National Two duck at Orrell.
