Selby Town are eyeing a maximum return from their next three games to get their campaign back on track.

The Robins have slipped to 11th in the NCEL premier division after two defeats but have the chance to hit back at home to bottom club Brodsworth tomorrow.

Assistant-boss Gary Cygan said: "We should have bounced back last Saturday (from defeat to Harrogate Railway) and we were by far the best team but didn't get the rub of the green and Eccleshill scored a 35-yard, one-in-a-million goal.

"We've now got three important games on Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday against Brodsworth, Hallam and Sheffield, and we're looking for nine points to get the season back where it should be."

Visitors Welfare have claimed only two points from their opening seven games. However, they are also unbeaten in their last two - a league draw at Buxton and an FA Vase win over Blackpool Mechanics - and Cygan added: "They're always difficult to play."

Forward Ian Twitchen begins his five-week ban, with Joe Gaughan and Dom Graham in contention for a start.
