YORK City progressed to the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup after a 4-1 victory over Marine at KitKat Crescent last night.
Alex Rhodes bagged a brace and Anthony Taylor and Jason Smith were also on target as Ian Kerr's teenagers booked a trip to Trafford's Shawe View ground in the next round provisionally set for Thursday, October 13.
Trafford, whose first team play in the North West Counties League, defeated Eccleshill United 4-3.
The crowd for last night's match was 203 and City juniors are back in action at Bradford City on Saturday.
