A SECOND HALF show of power brought Nestl Rowntree RUFC a 33-7 victory at Pocklington Merovingians.
Pock started brightly with centre Dieter Iverson ghosting through for a try converted by Geoff Knight.
'Trees fought back with a try from flanker James Forsey and a penalty from Ivor Jackson to lead 8-7 at halftime.
Aussie centre Chris Moores blunted Pock's attack with fine tackles on his debut as Trees' pack took control of the second half, bringing a hat-trick of tries for replacement number eight Dom O'Sullivan.
Winger John Shinn also crossed and Jackson added a second penalty and a conversion.
