IN response to the letter from the Rev Tony Morgan re traffic on Tang Hall Lane, yes indeed the council has concerns about this problem.
That is why they are proposing to generate even more traffic by creating a huge housing development at Osbaldwick, the traffic from which has nowhere to go but Tang Hall Lane, via Fourth Avenue, Fifth Avenue, Lang Avenue and Osbaldwick Lane.
Unlike the Biblical cup which overfloweth, Peter Evely's traffic cup is only half full, or so he stated at the planning meeting.
