DURING a recent visit to Prague, I couldn't help but notice the very tidy and clean streets and squares.
There were a number of horses and carriages to take tourists around the city, but I noticed the horses were provided with a type of catchment for horse droppings (see photo).
Since my return to York, I have seen horse dung heaps in many places around the city centre which cause nuisance to pedestrians and other road users. Can't anything be done to stop this unsightly mess in our city centre?
