WELL known in the Yorkshire property industry, John Totty has joined North Yorkshire construction company Russell Construction (York) Ltd.
Mr Totty, a former managing director of Bradford-based Totty Construction Group, has been appointed operations director at Russell's based at Buttercrambe, near Stamford Bridge.
The appointment comes after 20 years with Totty Construction Group working his way up from apprentice joiner. His other business interests have included John Totty Estates Ltd and J Totty Homes.
Stuart Ede, managing director of Russell Construction, said: "John Totty is an experienced and dynamic figure in the Yorkshire construction industry."
