I WATCHED the political programme "This Week" when one of the main guests was Kenneth Clarke MP.

I heard Mr Clarke rubbish reports of terrorists living in our midst, some of whom were British citizens, wanted by foreign governments for terrorist atrocities.

I realise the Conservatives have been in hibernation for years, but has this man lost the plot?

Decent people talk rightly about the need for restraint to avoid a backlash against innocent Muslims, but when people such as Mr Clarke, as well as this Government, deny the truth, is it not understandable that certain people will become resentful and upset after seeing their fellow citizens murdered?

This country does protect Muslim terrorists. Not only that, but they are given homes and welfare benefits, allowed to spout hate and anti-western bile in public, influence young Muslims to join terrorist organisations, and send money to terrorists abroad, yet nothing is done by the police to put a stop to this.

Furthermore, their "human rights" are put above the risk to ordinary Britons, because according to the "human rights" industry, deporting them could lead to an unfair trial or torture.

Well sir, what about the rights of the victims all over the world, and more importantly, what about the rights of the British population?

The only way politicians, or anyone else for that matter, can protect the decent Muslims living in our society is to deal harshly with terrorists living here and being protected by this government, and to hell with the human rights.
