THE recently-signed heavy metal band from Manchester produced a lively set, full of energy - the guys really put in a lot of effort into making sure the audience had a good time.

Lead singer Ed Godby made an effort to interact with the audience, and there was certainly no shortage of stage presence.

Unfortunately their set was cut short due to a late start, but nevertheless no complaints were made and they got on with it.

Songs such as Twelve showed that heavy metal can exist within a good melody line, and they even had the use of some effective guitar dynamics!

"I was impressed by their effort, as they came supplied with their own equipment, including the use of a strobe light which proved effective.

The audience must have noticed it too as they seemed to love their set.

Their first support band went by the name of Malkovich, and these guys (and girl) were entertaining.

The members were all in sync together and guitarist Thomas was brilliant to watch.

Their set was great, and they obviously love their music which came across well.

Second support band Mistress had small problems with feedback, but that aside proved to be a good set of guys.

I enjoyed the attitude of their lead singer, who walked on stage with a cigarette in one hand, a beer in the other, then later on proceeded to jump over the sound barrier to join the crowd. A Saturday night worth being out for!
