This year I am launching another 70- plus cycling challenge.
In August, just after my own 73rd birthday, I am undertaking a sponsored cycle ride of 70 miles along the Kent and Sussex coast in aid of Counsel and Care for the Elderly, the charity for which I am chairman of the fundraising committee.
Unlike a similar ride on my 70th birthday, I shall not be alone.
This time I shall be with my son and grandson.
I challenge other veteran cyclists to make their own ride over a 70-mile route of their choice to help Counsel and Care. If you are interested contact me on 0181 467 4407 or at the address below.
Counsel and Care, founded nearly 50 years ago, helps over 20,000 older people a year through support in their own homes, residential care and nursing homes.
