Suspended York City midfielder Mark Tinkler is in line for another penalty from the FA.
Tinkler has one more game to serve of a three-match ban imposed for his sending-off at Bristol Rovers last month. He completes that suspension after this Saturday's visit of Chesterfield to Bootham Crescent.
But the player is now facing a further rap from the FA after being charged with bringing the game into disrepute.
The charge has been brought against him for remarks he made to referee Ray Olivier in the closing minutes of the 2-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers which led to Tinkler's second booking and subsequent red card.
That was the battling midfielder's third dismissal of the season after his sendings-off against Wrexham in the FA Cup four months ago and then at home to Preston in January.
City club secretary Keith Usher confirmed that the club were now awaiting the findings of a disciplinary meeting by the FA into the disrepute charge to determine punishment for the midfield man.
He added that Tinkler, who is also on ten bookings for the season - one away from an automatic appearance in front of an FA disciplinary panel - had not requested a personal hearing.
