I am 80 and have recently been into York District Hospital for an operation. Granted, I had to wait several months but as it was not life threatening, I consider it quite fair in the light of cash flow problems in the NHS.

From first consulting my GPs in Tockwith I got first class treatment all down the line. From day one of entering York District Hospital for my operation I received excellent treatment from my specialist, Mr Hunter, sisters, nurses, ward maids, and even the food-servers in the dining room of Ward G1.

I am sure if you are treated kindly, it helps a great deal towards your recovery.

Thanks for my first class treatment.

Mrs Catherine Watson,

Butt Hedge,
