Tim Easterby can inch a step closer to his seasonal half-century of winners at Beverley tomorrow.

The Great Habton trainer, on the mark with Semi Circle at Musselburgh yesterday, which put him on the 47-winner mark, can lift the Hypac Handicap with Dominelle.

A mare who can normally be relied upon to add to the stable's scoresheet each year, Dominelle has, so far, come unstuck this term. But she has run some good races in defeat, notably when finishing a half-length second to Brecongill Lad at Pontefract last Sunday.

Overdue a win, but from a stable in cracking form, Dominelle can finally get her head in front tomorrow.

John Carroll, rider of Dominelle, can also capture the likewise televised Stanley Racing Handicap on Only For Gold.

Jack Berry's charge has finished runner-up on his last two starts and was beaten only a length by the fast-finishing Amalia at Chester last Saturday. He is fancied to go one better here.

The Mail On Sunday Hands 'n' Heels Apprentice Maiden Handicap will not take a great deal of winning. At My Command, trained by Mick Easterby shaped well enough from a poor draw when fifth to September Harvest over a mile at Pontefract last time to suggest a bold bid over this extra two furlongs.

Stan Finnamore, one of the most experienced riders in the race, takes the mount on At My Command, who is awarded the nap vote.

At Goodwood, the £75,000 Celebration Mile, the day's feature event, looks a good opportunity for Josr Algarhoud to continue his winning ways.

Successful in last season's Gimcrack Stakes at York on only his second ever outing, Josr Algarhoud suffered a setback over the winner and was not seen out again until landing the Beeswing Stakes at Newcastle last month. Still open to further improvement, Frankie Dettori's mount can follow up here.

The classy Nowhere To Exit can advertise his St Leger chances by landing the opening Sport On 5 March Stakes, while Marsad has a cracking chance in the wide-open Ladbroke Racing Spring Handicap.

Trained by John Akehurst, Marsad finished a close-up fifth to Pipalong in the Great St Wilfrid Handicap at Ripon a fortnight ago and might well have won had he not been drawn on the less-favoured stands side of the course.

With Dean McKeown making the long journey from Yorkshire to take the mount tomorrow, Marsad can gain deserved compensation for his luckless Ripon effort.

At Newmarket, Regal Philosopher should not be overlooked in the £15,000 Danepak Classic Rated Handicap.

The John Hills-trained three-year-old caught the eye on Knavesmire last week when, after meeting trouble in running, he stayed on very strongly to finish a close seventh of 20 in the Bradford & Bingley Handicap. With another two furlongs to travel tomorrow, he should be in his element.

Paul Doe is making quite a name for himself as an apprentice this season and the youngster has good prospects of a Newmarket double, courtesy of recent winner Elmhurst Boy (4.15) and the speedy Total Love (4.45).
