Following a horse in form, especially a mare in the autumn, can often prove rewarding and there is one such animal in action at Beverley tomorrow.

Gymcrak Flyer goes for the Hull & East Riding Institute For The Blind Handicap and is strongly fancied to complete a hat-trick of wins.

Trained at Newton-on-Rawcliffe near Pickering by Gordon Holmes, Gymcrak Flyer got off the mark at Carlisle towards the end of last month when beating Pleasant Dreams by one and a quarter lengths.

She followed up at Musselburgh a fortnight ago, coming through strongly to lead entering the final furlong before beating Kid'z'play by one and a half lengths.

Lindsay Charnock, who was in the saddle when Gymcrak Flyer won at Carlisle, takes the mount again tomorrow when the eight-year-old bids for further honours. She should take all the beating.

Henry Cecil holds the key to the Garrowby Maiden Fillies' Stakes with Corinium, the mount of Willie Ryan.

The two-year-old caught the eye in no uncertain terms on her debut over this course and distance last month when staying on strongly to finish third to the odds-on Via Camp.

Clearly inexperienced on that occasion, the well-bred Corinium should have benefited enormously from that outing. She can notch her first win tomorrow.

Spring Pursuit gets my vote in the SPS Group Handicap. Dale Gibson's mount was beaten only a length by Indian Nectar at Chepstow last time, staying on strongly over a mile and a quarter. Tomorrow's step up to a mile and a half should suit Spring Pursuit even better.

Sheriff Hutton jockey Kevin Darley, who notched his 100th winner of the season yesterday on the Brian Rothwell-trained Freedom Quest at Musselburgh, can add to his tally on Palawan in the Spurn Point Maiden Stakes.

Trained by Ian Balding, Palawan has finished second in three of his four starts this term and is overdue a win.

At Sandown, Pat Eddery looks poised to enjoy a lucrative afternoon. The 11-times champion jockey teams up with Cabriac in the Cannons Group Novice Stakes and this highly-regarded juvenile has strong claims.

Trained by John Dunlop, Cabriac was sent off a hot favourite on his debut at Newmarket last month but was beaten a short head by Merry Merlin after the pair finished clear.

Cabriac can gain compensation tomorrow for that near miss and initiate a double for Eddery and Dunlop, who will also be represented by Nap selection Royal Patron in the Heathorns Bookmakers' Handicap.

A winner at Lingfield two outings ago, Royal Patron could finished only fifth to Little Brave at Warwick next time after starting the evens favourite. She may not, however, have stayed the distance - nearly two miles - that day and is worth another chance back at one and threequarter miles tomorrow.

Easter Ogil, the mount of Kieren Fallon, can lift the Seeability Classified Stakes. Ian Balding's charge won at Bath on his latest outing, but is a course and distance winner.
