On September 24, an old shipmate of mine was laid to rest in York Cemetery.
I could not attend the funeral because I was in hospital. After leaving hospital I went to York Cemetery to visit his resting place, but could not find it. So I went into the office to ask where it was.
The girl in the office told me it would cost £3 for finding it on the computer. It is disgraceful to ask for money when he had only been laid to rest last month.
