As a Clifton Moor resident I naturally welcome First York's decision to run a new express bus service to the city centre from the Warner cinema.
However, I am also a cynic and would like to know what will become of the existing 19A, 19C and 18 services that currently serve Clifton Moor, Clifton and Monks Cross.
I know of people who use these services to get to places of work that are not in the city centre. So cutting back on these services will leave Clifton Moor worse served for buses than it is now. I'd also be interested to know if the proposed X19 will run every ten minutes like the Park and Ride did. I suspect not.
