Council should make its own saving first

Recent publicity about City of York Council's proposals to tackle the £4 million deficit in their budget beggars belief. Extensive consultation

City of York Council take consultation seriously and value the view of local people, as is clear when we look at the facts about the development of land at Osbaldwick. Left or right?

It has to be said that J Calpin ('Leaning to the Left', January 25) has a point in his comments on the rather leftish bias slightly colouring the excellent columns of Julian Cole and Chris Titley and the need to counterbalance this. Happy to log on

I must say that I have been enjoying Allan Clews' column. Each week, I log on to the Internet to read the latest.
