TOP TIPS: The New Earswick Under-10s squad with York City youth players Marc Thompson (left) and John Fielding.
Tips from the top are up for grabs in a new service being offered by York City to local junior football clubs, writes Dave Stanford
City's youth development officer Garry Naylor, is offering his expert coaching services free of charge.
Naylor, father of former Minstermen striker and current Darlington hot shot Glen, will be aided at the sessions by a couple of the club's youth team players.
The new service kicked-off this week when the City coaching team took charge of a training session for New Earswick Under-10s.
The youngsters were given an added bonus when they were given free tickets for tomorrow's match with Barnet.
Not only does the new scheme look set to get City more involved in the community but it also gives the club's coaching staff a chance to check out any potential-packed youngster at close quarters.
