Enter the Dutch - and suddenly York-based CEDG Ltd, the railway consultancy, has undergone a name-change to Corus

The new Corus Rail Consultancy branding was fanfared by marketing assistant Christian White and Sue Jackson, administration manager, at a special ceremony at the National Railway Museum, York. It follows British Steel's merger with Dutch conglomerate Koningklijke Hoogovens to form the Corus Group.

The new-look company, which provides the UK rail industry with civil, permanent way, signal, electrical and mechanical engineering design services as well as project management, feasibility studies and quantity surveying, will continue to operate nationally from its bases in York, London, Birmingham and Manchester.

From now on you can expect the re-branding to be followed up by focused advertising, design and public relations campaigns.
