It is not easy for North Yorkshire schools to visit the Millennium Dome. The round trip to London, plus a lengthy tour of the exhibition, is a lot for any child to manage in a day.

Acomb School has scooped this great prize. Days earlier teachers had reluctantly decided they could not afford such a trip. Now the children will enjoy a day at the Dome they will never forget.
