Many ex-RAF servicemen and women in your area will recall being posted to RAF Station Changi, Singapore, during the period 1945-1972. Changi was 'home' to thousands of air and ground crew, with supporting services personnel both at the base and at HQ Far East Air Force.
A Northern area get-together for ex-Changi-ites is planned for June 10 at the Yorkshire Air Museum, RAF Elvington, near York.
The annual reunion of association members is held in Birmingham each May, the next being Saturday, May 13.
