THERE is something of a grandstand view from refurbished offices being offered for sale or to let in a period building Tadcaster Road, York.
Whoever takes up one of those options on the newly re-vamped period house known as Moorlyn will be able to peer out over Knavesmire and York Racecourse.
The grand house, thought to have been built as part of Mount Villas in the 1870s offers 4,838 sq ft of usable space and has its own dedicated car parking.
It was bought by Kevin Mohan, a York investor and converted at a cost of more than £100,000.
Annual rents are being sought of £5,300 - amounting to around £11 per square ft, ideally on a 15 year lease.
Only freehold offers of more than £550,000 are likely to be considered
Agents Richard Flanagan of DTZ Debenham Tie Leung and Miles Lawrence at Lawrence Hannah and Skelton are quick to point out that the premises are readily accessible to the city centre, the railway station and the A64.
But the lure of the gee-gees could prove to be the ultimate selling point...
