THANK you Stephen Lewis (Thursday, June 1) for your reassuring words concerning us Brits.
In the eyes of more than 80 per cent of the world's population, we must appear to be living in paradise. Of course there are problems in Britain, there always have been and always will be, but as Stephen reminds us, in the main we are much blessed and have a great deal to be thankful for.
So let's make an effort to stop being a nation of moaners and be grateful for the peace we all enjoy.
