I READ your front-page report ('Scent of victory in pools campaign', June 3). Surprise, surprise "Labour Group Leader Rod Hills was not available for comment".
Why is Coun Hills never available for comment whenever suggestions which he does not support are published in the media? He was also conspicuous by his absence when all other parties were quoted after Labour's dismal performance in the last council by-election.
Come on Coun Hills, we have to put up with your face in the York Citizen when there is 'good' news, so face the music when there is bad news, or when common sense prevails and you have been overruled.
