Coaches Alan Hebblethwaite and Mick Calam will again be in charge of rugby league side York Acorn for the forthcoming National Conference second division campaign.
Pre-season training is now underway at Thanet Road on Tuesdays and Thursdays (6.30pm). New players are welcome and those interested should call coach Alan Hebblethwaite on 07747 692472 or 707796 for details.
Acorn under-16s are holding a meeting tonight starting at 6.30pm, for all players new and old with a view to starting training next Tuesday.

Next Thursday (7.30pm) the club are holding a volunteers night to thank the sponsors and everybody who has helped out during the last season.
