THE letter from Mike Usherwood (August 5) proves that he at least has not given up his vendetta against cyclists even if, as he suggests, the authorities may have relaxed their stance.
I cannot condone the bad cycling habits of a small percentage of riders, but I do object to the fact that Mr Usherwood seems to believe all cyclists show no respect for The Highway Code. Most cyclists are very sensible and pose no threat or danger to other road-users.
