YORKSHIRE Day Parliament Street market was absolutely brilliant. Just like the old days when markets were busy and full of proper British market traders. Very well run, very well organised.
Customers, locals and tourists alike all agreed that Parliament Street is the perfect place for the market. Most York Market traders also feel this way.
So why can't the council put it back out there where it obviously belongs?
Perhaps it would bring people back into the town on a regular basis again and not just for special events.
