Manager: Peter Davenport
Stadium: Moss Rose
Capacity: 6,028
Last Season: 13th
Comings and goings,
Out: Simon Davies (Rochdale, free) Paul Ware (Rochdale, free), Graeme Tomlinson (Exeter, free)
In: forward Lee Glover (Rotherham, free), goalkeeper Tony Bullock (Barnsley, free) Steve Davis (on trial Oxford, free)
One to watch: Striker Lee Glover has impressed in pre-season and will be looking to make up for lost time after injuries prevented him from playing a major role Rotherham's promotion winning campaign. A battler and scrapper, Glover has good goal pedigree notching 31 times in 64 ap-pearances for the Millers.
Odds: Confidence is high at Moss Rose and a play-off place, if not automatic promotion, is being seriously eyed despite a lack of finances. Daven-port has brought in a new coach to work alongside him, Alan Preston, from St Johnstone, and the new man has reportedly livened things up. It is Davenport's first full season at the helm, appointed after Sammy McIlroy took charge of Northern Ireland, but is well-liked by players and fans alike and will be given time to prove himself.
