AS a regular Evening Press reader I have, for the past few weeks, wondered at the antics of the Labour councillors at Guildhall including massive expenses claims, £16,000 to £18,000, and now wages up to £50,000, for doing what can only be described as a very poor job.
One only has to look at the mess they are making, and the money wasted, on the 'new' roundabout at Stockton Lane End.
If there is anything in favour of the money these people are claiming, perhaps Coun Hills could buy himself a jacket, tie and a decent pair of shoes so when he has his picture taken with his 'cabinet' he won't be the only one in shirtsleeves and trainers.
