IT WAS a wonderful though rather long launch day for the Millennium Bridge; Whitby Bird & Partners are very proud to have shared the celebration with so many people, on both banks of the river!
However your excellent reporting was incorrect in just one respect: Mark Whitby isn't an architect, and it is illegal for him to allow you to describe him as such. He is an engineer, like the others involved in designing, making, managing and erecting the bridge.
