York City chief Terry Dolan has vowed no stone will be left unturned in his preparations as the Minstermen look to avoid falling victim to an FA Cup giant-killing act.

City, who went out at the first round stage last season at the hands of Confer-ence outfit Hereford, will travel to face the winners of the fourth-qualifying round replay between Radcliffe Borough and Burscough in this year's competition.

The two UniBond League sides fought out a 1-1 draw on Saturday and will meet again tomorrow night at Radcliffe's Stainton Park.

Despite Saturday's result and having home advantage tomorrow, Radcliffe will start as underdogs.

They currently languish in the bottom half of the UniBond First Division while Burscough lie in seventh place in the Premier after winning promotion last season.

Dolan admits he knows little about either Lancashire-based side but is expected to be at tomorrow night's game as he builds up a dossier on both teams.

Despite the disappointment of missing out on a home draw, Dolan "I don't know anything about them yet but by the time we will play them we will know," he vowed.

"You get what you get in the FA Cup and we will have to be strong and disciplined and ready for it who ever we finally play.

"When ever a League team plays a non-league team in the FA Cup a non-league team is always going to fancy themselves.

Burscough have never gone beyond the first round of the FA Cup while Radcliffe Borough are already in uncharted waters having only ever reached the second-qualifying stage of the competition.

One man Dolan may turn to for information is City midfield ace Kevin Hulme. Hulme began his career with Radcliffe before making his way in the professional game with Bury.

City assistant manager Adie Shaw will also be able to give a first hand insight into the Burscough set-up.

Shaw was in charge of the City youth team featuring the likes of Christian fox, Lee Bullock and James Turley that beat their counterparts from Burscough in 1998 in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.

That result should be a good omen for City.

After seeing off Burscough 3-2 - Turley bagging the all important third goal - the youngsters went on to reach the fifth round of the competition.
