WHILE passing the Friends' Meeting House last week, I was disgusted to see white peace poppies on sale.
What an insult to the Royal British Legion and the Haig poppy fund. I urge anyone seeing these white poppy sellers to boycott them absolutely.
Left-wing bleeding heart liberals and pacifists may think it's 'trendy' to wear one but the rest of the country will continue to wear the official red poppy as a symbol of pride and remembrance for people not as fortunate as we are today.
