NICK Littmoden who has a strong team for the all-weather campaign, can add to his tally of winners at Lingfield tomorrow.

The Newmarket handler can strike with My Very Own in the Winter Warmer Offers Maiden Stakes.

The two-year-old, who has twice finished second this season, filled third spot at Wolverhampton earlier this month in a warm maiden won by Shakakhan.

My Very Own deserves another chance tomorrow to improve Littmoden's sand score.

Stan Finnamore, formerly with Sheriff Hutton trainer Mick Easterby, is now based at Epsom with Terry Mills and is a regular rider on the three sand circuits.

A very able 5lb claimer, Finnamore has been snapped up by trainer Paul Felgate to ride Double Splendour in division one of the Lingfield Handicap, and a successful association is promised.

Although now a ten-year-old, Double Splendour, a former high-class handicapper, is still capable of showing his junior rivals a clean pair of heels.

Beaten only a length by the in-form Janiceland over seven furlongs on this track recently, the hardy old gelding can go one better tomorrow as he steps up to a mile.

Andrew Reid tends to do well with the horses he acquires out of claiming races and Otime promises to be another useful recruit to his London yard.

Previously trained by Michael Wigham, the three-year-old scored on this course three weeks ago and was immediately purchased by Reid.

It would not surprise me to see Otime follow-up in the Travel By Train Classified Stakes and he is awarded the Nap vote. Matthew Henry has the mount.

Much Ado can notch a quick Lingfield double in the Lingfield Park Golf Club Handicap over a mile and a quarter.

John Gosden's lightly-raced three-year-old got off the mark over this course and distance a fortnight ago - providing his trainer with his 1,000th British win in the process - when gaining an easy success over Paperweight. An encore looks on the cards with Robert Havlin again in the saddle.

Jockey Tony Culhane, making a regular foray south from his North Yorkshire home, can be rewarded with a win on Vantage Point in division one of the Race Sponsorship Handicap over two miles.

Over the sticks, the richest race of the day is at Newton Abbot in the shape of the £10,000 Stanley Racing Novices' Hurdle Final.

Despite its value, this race will not take a great deal of winning and Michel de Moeurs looks capable of defying top-weight for the in-form partnership of trainer Paul Nicholls and claiming jockey Sam Stronge.
