Bonny baby Alexander James McMillan has beaten off competition from across North Yorkshire to claim his crown.
The one-year-old, from Haxby, was chosen from more than 70 contenders for the title.
Customers at the Monks Cross Asda store were asked to submit pictures of the cutest children under 18 months.
The pictures were put on show in the store, and a panel of judges picked out Alexander as their favourite.
The youngster has won a six-month supply of Pamper Sensitive nappies, as well as entry into the national round of the competition.
An Asda spokeswoman said: "Alexander's mother Jeanette was certainly very happy when Alexander was chosen as the winner."
