Have the new parking wardens employed by the City of York Council been issued with timekeeping watches?
On November 25, having delivered a package to a shop on Acomb's Front Street, I witnessed a parking warden close off the footstreet area of Front Street and proceed to drive away, circumnavigating the roundabout by Acomb Gables by 9.27am.
This is three minutes before the latest that a vehicle is allowed on the footstreet area of Front Street.
The parking wardens may be a good idea but they need to get their act together to avoid the ridicule heaped on their predecessors.
