Dringhouses lost their unbeaten record in the premier division of Leeper Hare York and District League, going down 4-3 at home to Rufforth.

Andy Barkway opened the scoring for Dringhouses. Rufforth counter-attacked and Danny Bodden equalised direct from a corner and Martin Pepper was on target to put Rufforth ahead

In the second half Jimmy Collins put Rufforth further ahead. Dringhouses equalised when Barkway scored from the penalty spot.

Paul Moss finished off a three-man move to put Rufforth a two goal cushion. Alan Goodrick scored the the third goal for Dringhouses.

Gary Keenan and Darren Baker had outstanding games Rufforth.

Crayke kept themselves well in the race with a 3-0 win at home to Wigginton Grasshoppers.

The young Grasshoppers' side created a number of chances, but could not finish.

Crayke took the lead after 20 minutes, the ball being knocked in from the left for Dan Copeland to net with a low drive.

Ten minutes later Mark Hutchinson made ir 2-0. The third goal came just before half time, when Dan Copeland scored his second of the match.

In the second half both goalkeepers - Crake's Paul Simpson and Maris Camiogg of Grasshoppers - made outstanding saves.

Bishopthorpe stepped up a gear after a goalless first half to win 3-0 away to bottom club CGU.

Simon Mallen opened the scoring and followed by a goal each from Chris Smith and Kieran O'Brian.

Kartiers equalised three minutes from time as Dave Dixon scored to snatch a point for Kartiers in a 1-1 draw at home to fellow strugglers New Earswick, who had taken the lead through a Phil Hart penalty.

After a goalless first half Dunnington used the quick break to great effect at home to Pocklington, whose defence was fully stretched

Mike Walker put Dunnington ahead in the second half and Rich Millett equalised near the end.
