SCORES of new jobs in York will be on offer at a hospitality and tourism jobs fair at the Hilton Hotel in Tower Street, on Saturday March 17.
The annual fair, organised by York Tourism Training, starts at 10 am and will feature vacancies ranging from waiters, chefs and managers in hotels to tourist advisers and front line staff at tourism attractions.
Training opportunities in the industry will also be on offer with training organisations publicising their services.
A big attraction is likely to be the 'Springteractive' computer operated by Springboard UK, the tourism jobs promoters. It will analyse visitors' talents to match them up with their ideal jobs in the industry.
John Gallery, of York Tourism Training said: "People can learn the truth at this fair about opportunities, working conditions and pay directly from people in the industry."
