Kevin Lund leads the Marston Moor Villages League most wins table with 16 successes from 17 matches.

Lund's Royal Oak side top the league table by six points following an 8-1 at Pavilion whose winner was Malcolm Davey, including a double-board ton for 22 darts.

John Moore (Pavilion) also threw a hundred score as did Oak's Dave Tatterton, gaming on 80 in 24.

Spotted Ox, aided by a fine 92 out-shot from Don Gosley, beat Lord Nelson 5-4 who had tons to count from John Spence and Stuart Newton.

Tons scored by Gary Stead, then Dave Spencer took Collingwood to a 7-2 result over Tankard 'B', but Tankard 'A' fared better at Hammerton Social Club despite a good 100 for 23 darts by Dave Stoakes and a ton from Neil Phillips.

Alice Hawthorn provided all the highlights in a 6-3 win over Sports Club.

Paul Yates and Eric Corser each scored tons, while Pete Hill and John Dunwell had good finishes.

An excellent 18 darts from Leeman's Martyn Turner was brushed aside by Cygnet 'A' in the York John Smith's Mixed League.

Cygnet, with Dave Gibbons recording a 180, as did Leeman's Phil Smith, went on to win 7-2.

Huntington 'A' team's 5-4 over Beeswing included a 24 dart 701 by Rich Plummer and Angie Hields.

James and Maggie Joyce took the deciding 5-4 game for Burton Stone against Bumper.

Doreen Johnstone threw a 174 score as Slipper 'B' marched to a comprehensive result at Vaults 'A'.

Rising Frog Hall star, Toni Smallwood, is cast among the big fish in tonight's York John Smith's Ladies League individual competition semi-finals at City Arms (8pm).

Carole Layne (Brigadier), Tracey Farmeary and Carole Pipes (City Arms) having previously won singles championships carry the greater experience, but Smallwood, although a minnow in this class of company, has, over the past year, shown she has the skill and determination to excel when the chips are down.

Roz Kerr and Jo Hodges (Brigadier) defend the Pairs Trophy. City Arms, the division one champions, are well represented by Farmeary and Jane Janes along with Pipes and Bev Harton. Sandra Bruce teams with Tracey Watkinson for Castle Howard Ox.

Kerr and Hodges have an opportunity to also collect the Triples crown with Julie Coyle, while Wenlock are represented by Muriel Britton and daughters, Michelle and Amanda.

Farmeary, Janes and Sue Smith go for City Arms while Smallwood and mother, Jean, bid for the title with Sue Tate.

The Captain-Vice Captain Cup is between Wenlock, Brigadier, City Arms and Ox, while Elsie Bell Memorial Trophy drawn-pairs contestants are Kerr-Dorothy Barker, Angie Hields-Ann Regan, Sue Smith-Wendy Smith and Babs Harrison-Angie Powell.
