Disney's The Emperor's New Groove, published by Disney Interactive for PlayStation
Based on the animated movie currently showing across the UK, this game follows the story of the film, where Kuzco,
an arrogant young emperor, is transformed into a llama by his evil power-hungry adviser, Yzma. Stuck in the jungle, our hero befriends a peasant named Pacha and together they attempt to return to the palace in order to restore his human form.
Your adventure begins as you try to navigate safely back home. Along the way, you will encounter numerous different challenges, including battles with killer crocs and wild jaguars as well as races, time trials and puzzles to solve, collecting coins and tokens as you go. But watch out for Yzma!
The graphics are excellent, with splendid layouts and some smooth, flowing action, and the good sound quality makes this a pleasing game to play, especially for younger gamers. My son (aged seven) really enjoyed this one.
There's plenty going on to keep you occupied for quite some time. You even get extracts from the movie thrown in for good measure. Definitely worth a look, this is certainly one groove you can dig - yeah, baby!
