A 49-year-old man has denied the manslaughter of a man in York nearly four years ago.
Ian Edward Smith, of Ratcliffe Street, off Burtonstone Lane, York, is accused of unlawfully killing Colin Fawcett in May, 1997. He appeared before York Crown Court and was released on bail. The venue and date of his trial has yet to be fixed.
