Anthony McGrath has plundered his second century in consecutive innings on Yorkshire's pre-season tour of South Africa.

The Bradford-born batsman was rested after lashing an unbeaten 157 against the Northerns President's XI in the opening match but he returned yesterday to smash 110 as Yorkshire crushed a young Boland Academy XI by 120 runs at Hermanus, Cape Town.

McGrath made his runs out of 235-5, Simon Widdup being next top scorer with 26, and Yorkshire then bowled out Boland for 115, spinners Ian Fisher (3-13) and Richard Dawson (3-14) doing most of the damage while Gavin Hamilton picked up 2-10.

Meanwhile, ticket sales for the fourth Ashes Test at Headingley, starting on August 16, have topped the £1m mark.

The ground is sold out to the public on the Friday and Saturday with only a few West Stand tickets available for the Thursday. Some tickets remain for Yorkshire members.
