CHARTERED accountants firm Garbutt & Elliott, of Monkgate, York, today announced that from Saturday it will no longer trade as a partnership. Instead it will become a limited company.
The incorporation of businesses into Garbutt & Elliott Ltd "has become a feature of recent years and we have advised many of our clients to do so," said partner Michael Backhouse.
The announcement coincides with the appointment of six extra directors in addition to the existing partners.
They are Richard Green, Craig Manson, Jeremy Oliver, Nigel Shaw, Alan Sidebottom and Russell Turner. Each will have the responsibility of driving forward their specialist areas within the practice.
