FORMER York City starlet Jonathan Greening had a taste of the high life after flying out with the senior England squad to Albania ahead of tomorrow's crucial World Cup qualifier.

However, the Manchester United midfielder has not been promoted from the Under-21s by England chief Sven-Goran Eriksson.

Greening was back in his home town of Scarborough on Sunday to attend the christening of his daughter, Sydney, at St Peter's Church.

Because of the special occasion, he had been given permission to team up with his under-21 team mates, who play Albania tonight in a European Championship qualifier, a day late.

Tonight's under-21s' match has been switched on UEFA's advice due to fears about the safety of the players.

The match will now take place at the Quemal Stafa Stadium in Tirana after the rutted pitch at the Selman Stermasi Stadium was declared dangerous.
